I love words and little phrases that make me laugh out loud or think twice about something. I tend to hear and see things differently than others. We'll call it "creative twists on the ordinary."I have always had a passion for children’s literature and have collected ideas for as long as I can remember. All it takes is a spark, an idea, and the determination to never let go of your dream. That's where I am now, finding ways to put my lifelong passions together into something tangible and share them with others. Enter The Greeting Card Connection
Call me old fashioned, but I love cards. Real cards. Something I can hold in my hand. Something tangible. My favorite cards to create and to give, when appropriate, are funny cards. Especially those where art and words play together to bring a smile. You'll see a lot of that in my card shop on Etsy. It's a place I can connect and share and help others communicate greetings and support to people they care about, and it's something I absolutely love doing. I am happy that I have reached this place where my artsy-self and my wordy-self are better connected. There's more to do and I am excited to watch it unfold! My Artsy Self
When I was a kid, I loved to draw cartoons. Enter Life. Exit Art. (Shame on me.) Many years later, when I finally started writing the picture books I always wanted to write, the thought of illustrating them seemed unimaginable. But I gave it a try and that first book is my most popular book so far. Not so sure it's the drawings, but it worked. 10 books in, I've been told I have Imposter Syndrome, because I am usually the most surprised by what I create! I am just the vessel.Me Then and Me Now
